On a chilly night October 23, 2004, Vicki performed at a House Concert~Cookout~Campout in Sanford, NC at the residence of Ginny Phillips. She had the pleasure of having "Someone's Sister" open for her and then she had the big pleasure of having Steve Wolfe (bass guitar), Laura McLean (electric lead guitar) and Phyllis Free (drums) accompany her on stage. Laura McLean is the front person and songwriter for the band "Calamity" and Phyllis Free was in Wilmington with Vicki that week recording some drum tracks for her upcoming CD project "Horizons". The crowd of over 80 people danced and laughed the night away enjoying a roasted pig with all the trimmings and a great music show. What a way to have a concert. |
